A$AP Ferg stands with Meek Mill in the video for their Still Striving collaboration “Trap and a Dream.”
The visual, which was filmed earlier this year in Harlem, finds the Trap Lord and Dreamchasers MC rhyming in a Rolls-Royce. “Know a couple ni**as want me dead in my hood,” raps Mill. “Do some charity, I put some bread in my hood / Pussy ni**as snitching got the feds in my hood / It’s like all the real ni**as really dead in my hood.”
Directed by Guru Media Group, the visual ends with police sirens. Cops force Meek to leave the scene, since the car they’re in is double parked. After the visual fades to black, #FreeMeek flashes across the screen, referring to the rapper’s recent 2-4 year prison sentence.
“Meek is my brother and will forever have my support, especially in these tough times,” said Ferg, adding, “We need all your prayers for Meek to get out of his current situation. It really could be me or you in this same position.”
