The hiatus is over. Lil’ Kim makes a triumphant return with her buzz track “Took Us a Break.”

Over a hypnotic instrumental, the Queen Bee brags about Lamborghini, Givenchy, Gucci, and trips to Dubai. But in the midst of the boastful taunts, Kim manages to take on her haters and imitators.

“I was raised in the school of hard knocks,” she raps. “These bitches is class clowns / Giving y’all my old clothes, my old flows like hand-me-downs / I see y’all watching my Snap / Trying to see what else you could jack.”

“Took Us a Break” references Kim’s 12-year hiatus from the rap game since 2005’s The Naked Truth. Up next, the Queen Bee is teaming up with Remy Ma on “Wake Me Up,” a reported diss track aimed at their mutual nemesis, Nicki Minaj.
