New Music: Miguel - 'Remember Me (Dúo)'

  /  10.27.2017

Miguel goes bilingual on “Remember Me,” a ranchero-style duet with Natalia Lafourcade off the soundtrack to Disney/Pixar’s upcoming animated movie, Coco.

“Remember me, though I have to travel far,” sings the R&B crooner over the boléro-inspired beat. “Remember me each time you hear a sad guitar / Know that I’m with you the only way that I can be / Until I’m in your arms again, remember me.”

Inspired by Día de Los Muertos, the 3D computer-animated musical fantasy adventure Coco stars Anthony Gonzalez as a 12-year-old aspiring musician named, appropriately enough, Miguel. The movie hits theaters on Nov. 22.

The real life Miguel is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2015’s Wildheart. “Remember Me” arrives on the heels of his previous releases, “Sky Walker” with Travis Scott and “Shockandawe.”
