New Music: Fifth Harmony - 'Can You See'
Fifth Harmony gets in the holiday spirit with “Can You See” from the 3D animated movie The Star, which tells the story of the first Christmas.
Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani Kordei trade segments of the song, before coming together for the melodic chorus. A lyric video for the track features clips from the film, including the nativity scene.
“‘Can You See’ is a beautiful song that follows a story of The Star. It’s a very inspirational song,” said Ally, while Lauren added, “I hope that when people hear this song they feel the emotion behind it. We were all just very drawn to this song.”
In addition to Fifth Harmony, The Star soundtrack features Kirk Franklin, Pentatonix, and Mariah Carey, who contributed the theme song. The album arrives Oct. 27, while the movie hits theaters Nov. 17.
Next up, 5H is teaming up with French Montana on a remix to their single “He Like That,” which drops at midnight.
