Lil Uzi Vert Cancels Joint Tour with Playboi Carti
Just one day after revealing dates for “The 16*29 Tour” with Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert has announced that the shows will not go on.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday (Oct. 19), the Philadelphia rapper said that he’s backing out of the trek in order to “focus.” “Not going on tour wit carti,” he tweeted. “need 2 focus.”

Yesterday, Uzi and Carti announced their joint trek, which was set to run from Nov. 17 through Dec. 21 with special guests G Herbo and SOB x RBE. A press release even claimed that additional dates would be added to the tour.
Prior to the tour announcement, the duo had been teasing their collaborative project 16*29. It is unclear how, if at all, this changes those plans.
