Lil Uzi Vert Performs on 'TRL'

Lil Uzi Vert takes over “TRL.”

Following sets from Migos and Playboi Carti earlier in the week, the Luv Is Rage MC stopped by the show’s Times Square studio for a performance.

Bathed in purple lights, Uzi delivered his 2x platinum smash “XO Tour Llif3.” Surrounded by audience members, Vert rapped along to his top 10 hit and interacted with fans who knew the lyrics.

As part of the post show, Uzi shoulder-shimmied across the stage for “Sauce It Up.” While fans filmed the live set on their phones and took selfies with him in the background, Vert walked across the studio.

Elsewhere on the program, which also featured Nick Jonas and Rita Ora, Uzi opened up about his joint project with Playboi Carti. Like his partner-in-rhyme who was on the show yesterday, Vert would only reveal that it is coming out “very soon.”

Beyond his mixtape with Young Carti, Uzi is also planning on dropping Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2 and a rock-inspired album with Marilyn Manson’s guidance.
