Migos are going from “Bad and Boujee” to crafting movies.
During a recent interview with Beats 1, Offset revealed that the trio’s next quest is the motion picture business. “My boy Quavo writing the scripts,” he told Zane Lowe. “He already been in that kitchen trying to whip up.”
Quavo is quite the movie buff, pulling inspiration from classic ’90s films. “I’m a ’90s baby and all my favorite movies got all my dope artists in ’em,” said Q. “Juice, Menace II Society, all the Snoop Dogg movies, Master P movies, I Got the Hook-Up, Baller Blockin’, the Big Tymers movie. Even Ice Cube. You know, Cube killed it. That’s what we’re doing right now; we’re looking into the script.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Quavo also provided an update on his highly-anticipated Travis Scott joint project, which is expected soon. “We still figuring it out with the music,” he said. “We got all that we wanna do, we just tryna get all the tracklisting.”
Yesterday, Migos also appeared on “TRL,” where they revealed that Quality Control’s compilation Control the Streets, Vol. 1 is due in November. The group performed “Too Hotty” on the show’s premiere, which also featured DJ Khaled and Ed Sheeran.
