SZA goes gold.
Following the commercial and critical success of her debut album, Ctrl, the TDE songstress earns a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for her Travis Scott collaboration, “Love Galore.”
The song resides at No. 37 on the Hot 100, while “The Weekend” — also from Ctrl — sits at No. 61. Elsewhere, her Maroon 5 collaboration, “What Lovers Do,” is now at No. 27. Meanwhile, Ctrl remains in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Presently at No. 9, the LP has spent 13 weeks on the chart, where it opened at No. 3.
SZA has even more hits in her future. Yesterday, she joined Khalid and Post Malone on the remix to Lorde’s “Homemade Dynamite.” Plus, her song “Quicksand” popped up on the “Insecure” soundtrack.
The TDE songstress is currently on her “Ctrl Tour,” which is set to run through Dec. 17 in St. Louis. In between dates, she will join Bryson Tiller on the European leg of his “Set It Off Tour,” which runs from Oct. 17 through Nov. 30.
