Tamar Braxton is ready to spread her wings with her fifth studio album, Bluebird of Happiness. After hinting at some social media tea, the soulful songstress unveiled the title and cover art.
“My BEST work to date. My new album. Bluebird of Happiness,” tweeted Tamar. “I know I keep saying it's coming. But I promise u I can NOT wait to share this.”
The elegant artwork finds Tamar’s nude body painted in metallic hues of silver, blue, and purple. Two large and graceful wings flap behind her as hair covers her face.
Earlier this summer, Tamar released the first single “My Man,” inspired by her parents’ relationship.
The album, executive produced by Rodney Jerkins and Vincent Herbert, marks Tamar’s first independent release since leaving Epic Records. “It’s almost like Love and War and Calling All Lovers got together and had a baby,” she told Rap-Up.
Bluebird of Happiness is due this fall.
