New Music: PARTYNEXTDOOR - 'Break Me Down'

  /  08.24.2017

Case of the ex. On the heels of “His Name Cassius” with Peewee Longway, PARTYNEXTDOOR unleashes a new heartbreaking anthem, “Break Me Down.”

Over airy, trap-inspired R&B production, PND sings about an ex who knew him before his high-profile romances.

“Why you act like you don’t know me before all the Kates, Kylies, and Kehlanis, whoa,” he sings. “Why you do me this way? / Must be how it go when you crack the Drake code.”

Shortly after releasing the track, Party shared a screenshot of an e-mail he appeared to receive from an ex. “I’m not jumping back into anything with you right now,” reads the e-mail. “I need major time apart from you.”

In June, Party released his Colours 2 visual EP. He’s also been teasing upcoming collaborations with Kanye West, Ne-Yo, and T-Pain.
