Cardi B is coming to the VMAs. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who currently has the No. 3 song in the country, will perform her hit single at this year’s pre-show.
Additionally, Best New Artist nominee Khalid will perform live from the red carpet at The Forum during the “MTV VMA Pre-Show,” which is set to be co-hosted by three-time nominee Lil Yachty, Terrence J, Charlamagne Tha God, and Gaby Wilson.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Shawn Mendes, and Katy Perry will be performing on the MTV VMA main stage. Collaborations will also be highlighted at the event, including Logic and Khalid’s “1-800-273-8255,” and Fifth Harmony and Gucci Mane’s “Down.”
Kung Fu Kenny leads all nominees going into the MTV Video Music Awards with eight nods, including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Choreography.
The MTV VMAs will air live from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Sunday (Aug. 27).
