Report: Usher Facing 3 More Herpes Lawsuits

  /  08.04.2017

Usher’s alleged sex scandal continues. Three more people — one man and two women — are now coming forward with claims that the R&B singer exposed them to herpes through sexual contact since 2012.

Each of the accusers claims that he did not warn them about his alleged STD before they engaged in the sexual contact, according to TMZ. All three of the accusers are being represented by celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom.

This Monday, Bloom is scheduled to file a lawsuit in Los Angeles on behalf of her clients. She is then slated to hold a press conference in New York with one of the accusers present. The other two are choosing to remain anonymous.

Last month, a report claimed that Usher paid an ex $1.1 million to settle a 2012 lawsuit, after he allegedly gave her herpes. Shortly after this became public, another woman sued him for $20 million, claiming that he transmitted the virus to her, as well.

Usher — who performed as part of Dave Chappelle’s Radio City Music Hall residency on Thursday (Aug. 3) — has not publicly responded to these accusations. However, sources connected to the singer and his wife Grace Miguel tell TMZ that Miguel is not concerned with the recent lawsuits.

According to the insider, Grace and Usher say the woman who most recently filed a $20 million lawsuit — originally reported by TMZ as a $40 million suit — was a friend of Tameka Foster, Usher’s first wife. They believe she “has a thing against [Usher], and has for a long time.” Therefore, Grace is standing by the R&B superstar.
