Tory Lanez’ sophomore album is coming sooner than you think.

Taking to Twitter, the Toronto MC revealed that the follow-up to his 2016 debut I Told You is complete. “The album is done,” he tweeted. “Finishing Clearance and Art and it’s yours.”

While a title and release date is unknown, it’s merely the latest announcement regarding Tory’s forthcoming release. Just days ago, he revealed that “there is a verse on my new album called ‘Hate to Say’ that’s 4:30 seconds of me laying everything on the table.” The New Toronto MC punctuated the tweet with “#Iconic.”

Prior to that, Lanez said he would be writing lyrics for his album with pen and paper, a break from his “freestyle” process. Later, he shared his own admiration with the change.

“I really forgot how nice I am with a pen and paper,” he wrote. “WOW .. album 2 is not a fuck around ting.”

In June, Swavey also promised that he was “90 percent” done with the album.

Last year, Tory released his debut I Told You, which opened at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned the Cashmere Cat and Benny Blanco-produced “Luv,” which peaked at No. 19 on the Hot 100.
