With his breakout smash “Location” still blazing the Hot 100, Khalid unleashes the video for his newest American Teen single, “Young Dumb & Broke.”

Directed by Calmatic, the youth-inspired track gets a high school-themed visual, complete with Dennis Haskins, who famously portrayed Mr. Belding on “Saved By the Bell.” Haskins kicks off the video by wishing this year’s grads luck in the future.

Khalid takes over from there, dancing in a basketball gym and a football field, hanging out with friends, and watching cheerleaders from the bleachers. Soon, he’s having a dance-off with Kel Mitchell, the actor from “All That” and Good Burger, who plays the role of a cafeteria clerk.

The visual plays out like a high school yearbook, featuring awards like “Most Likely to Not Give a Fuck,” “Best Hair,” and “Class Clown.” Khalid and Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei even pop up as “Prom King and Queen.”

Elsewhere, the visual features cameos from rapper Buddy, actress Rachael Leigh Cook, and comedian Wayne Brady, who finishes the song off with a hilarious skit in which he plays the disgruntled school janitor.

Khalid, who recently earned nominations for the MTV VMAs and the Teen Choice Awards, is currently on his “American Teen Tour,” which kicked off last month. The North American run is set to come to an end Sept. 23 in Las Vegas.
