On Sunday (July 23), Kendrick Lamar welcomed 2 Chainz and Travis Scott to the stage during his headlining set on “The DAMN. Tour” at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

The surprise led to a special performance of “4 AM” by the Drench God and La Flame, who is also on the tour as one of K-Dot’s opening acts. Meanwhile, the TDE MC stayed on stage, handling ad-libs and additional vocals.

Cornrow Kenny and Tity Boi have some history together, collaborating on A$AP Rocky’s “F**kin’ Problems” and Robin Thicke’s “Give It 2 U (Remix).” Earlier this year, Chainz freestyled over Lamar’s “DNA.” and Kendrick praised Hair Weave Killer’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music on Twitter.

While in New York, Kendrick was presented with a 2x-platinum plaque for DAMN., which is the only album to be certified double platinum in 2017. “I am forever grateful,” he told his fans.
