After a roller coaster ride over the past couple years, Meek Mill is tallying up his Wins & Losses on his third studio album.
But the Maybach Music Group MC isn’t doing it alone. In fact, the 17-track follow-up to 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money features a slew of collaborators, including Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign (“Whatever You Need”), Young Thug (“We Ball”), Rick Ross and Yo Gotti (“Connect the Dots”), Lil Uzi Vert (“F**k That Check Up”), and Teyana Taylor, who joins Rozay on “Made It From Nothing.”
Wins & Losses is an autobiographical effort. “I’m just breaking down the wins and losses of my life,” he told Spotify. “It’s all about what molded me into being Meek Mill today and the trials and tribulations of my life that made me bigger and better.”
In addition to celebrating his “Glow Up,” the Dreamchasers boss made sure to add depth to his lyrics. “I’m spittin’,” he told Streetz 94.5. “Some things, you’re gonna have to play them back. You’re gonna have to think a little bit.”
To accompany the project, Meek has been debuting chapters from his Wins & Losses movie, which chronicles a man who’s dealing with the death of his older brother.
