Au revoir, Paris! Following back-to-back shows overseas, Rihanna is bringing her Fenty Puma runway show back to New York.
The fashion icon is set to debut her spring 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week, where she launched the line in fall 2016.
“After two successful seasons showing during Paris Fashion Week, Rihanna has decided to return to New York and show her Fenty Puma by Rihanna spring 2018 collection during NYFW, making this the first time she will present during September NYFW,” Puma said in a statement to WWD.
This will mark RiRi’s first time presenting during September New York Fashion Week. Her fall 2016 collection was shown during February NYFW before heading to Paris Fashion Week to launch her spring 2017 and fall 2017 collections.
Back in December 2014, Rihanna signed a three-year deal as the creative director for Puma. “I think design is a part of being creative,” she said at the time. “I enjoy creating and expressing the crazy things going on in my mind through something that people can see and that is tangible. That is the best part, being able to express yourself.”
