Drake keeps rolling with “No Complaints.” After dropping “Signs” and his remix to PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Freak in You,” the 6 God teams up with Offset on Metro Boomin’s newest single.
“No Complaints” kicks off with the Migos MC and his “greatest” goals. “I wanna be like Muhammad Ali,” he raps. “Hang on the ropes and I’ll beat you to sleep / Taught to get money ’cause talk is too cheap / Quarter million when you open my brief.”
Cash rules everything around Drake’s verse, too. “At 17, I wanted everything that was in store,” he raps. “At 23, I bought it all just to make sure / Fuck a delay, they gotta pay / Like it’s back in the day.”
Drizzy and Metro have become quite the combination. In the past, they’ve worked on tracks like “Both,” “Big Rings,” and “Live From the Gutter.” In fact, Boomin executive produced Drake and Future’s 2015 collaborative album, What a Time to Be Alive.
This could be the start of something major for Metro, who teased the single with a caption that read, “TONITE IT BEGINS.” It remains to be seen whether that means a full-length album, mixtape, or EP is in store. For now, listen to “No Complaints” below.
