2 Chainz’ star-studded album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is out now, but it’s his collaboration with Nicki Minaj that has everyone talking.
Over the FKi production, Tity Boi flexes his authenticity and regal status. “This is the King of the Trap,” he boasts. “I pull ’em straight out the hat / Everyone better take cover, got rappers under attack.”
As previously reported, Nicki uses her verse to take shots at rival Remy Ma. “Realize a lot of these ni**as tell real lies,” she sings. “They ain’t about shit in real life / That’s something I had to realize.”
The onslaught continues with more venomous bars from Onika. “I’ve been winning eight years consistently, at least respect it / Papoose wrote a ‘Ether’ record, but I broke Aretha record,” she raps. “See this is chess, not checkers / You cannot check the checkers / Did Nas clear that ‘Ether’ record? / Nah, but I will complete the record.”
In addition to Nicki, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music features appearances from Drake, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Migos, Pharrell, Monica, and more.
