Wale climbs to “Colombia Heights” with J Balvin in the video for his latest SHINE single.
Directed by Mike Ho, Folarin is joined by a bevy of beauties in nothing but underwear and gold paint. The statuesque models surround Wale while he rhymes in Spanglish.
Eventually, Colombian superstar J Balvin joins Folarin for a dance-filled cameo. The unabashed singer offers a raunchy message to his girl, bashing her other man in the process.
“Colombia Heights (Te Llamo)” is the latest single off Wale’s SHINE, following the Lil Wayne-assisted “Running Back” and the G-Eazy-featured “Fashion Week.”
Speaking to Billboard last month, Folarin explained why J Balvin was the perfect collaborator. “I got a lot of Spanish friends that be in the studio,” he said. “I just wanted to have some fun with that record and just do something different, man. That’s what it really is all about. Having fun with different stuff. I think that song got a lot of potential, too.”
