New Music: Action Bronson - 'Let Me Breathe'

  /  06.14.2017

Action Bronson is back.

To accompany the announcement of his forthcoming project Blue Chips 7000, Bronsolino has released a brand new single, “Let Me Breathe.”

Over a quirky Harry Fraud-produced banger that samples “The Fat Boys Are Back” by the legendary Fat Boys, Mr. Wonderful delivers free-flowing bars.

“It’s like I’m at the studio with Michael,” he brags. “You can hear me dancing on the beat / Bam Bam ’bout to put a mansion on the beach.”

Like much of what Action does, “Let Me Breathe” is meant to be fun. “There’s always like a comedic thing to it,” he told Noisey. “I don’t take myself too seriously. I don’t take anything too seriously. Life is fucking too gorgeous and too diverse to be too fucking caught up in the bullshit. So this joint’ll have people fucking shaking their fucking asses, breaking their fucking head, crashing their car into Boston Market. Straight up running into Chinese food restaurants, naked going crazy.”

Along with “Let Me Breathe,” Bronson announced the third and final installment of his Blue Chips series, which is set to feature Rick Ross and frequent collaborators Big Body Bes and Mayhem Lauren, as well as production by The Alchemist, Harry Fraud, and Party Supplies. The project is due this summer via VICE/Atlantic.

In addition to working on his two television shows (“Fuck, That’s Delicious” and “Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch ‘Ancient Aliens'”), Bronson will release his first cookbook, F*ck, That’s Delicious, An Annotated Guide to Eating Well, on Sept. 14.
