It’s a Beautiful day for G-Eazy fans. Nearly two years after When It’s Dark Out, the Bay Area MC has announced his fifth studio album, The Beautiful & Damned.
“Excited to finally announce my new album The Beautiful & Damned…Coming this fall,” he tweeted. “Can’t wait to share this with the world.”
Eazy season arrives shortly after Young Gerald unleashed a slew of new tracks. Last month, the Yay Area spitter dropped “Maximum,” “Eyes Closed,” “Special Love,” “Get Mine,” and “Shake It Up.” It’s unclear whether any of them will live on The Beautiful & Damned.
Earlier this year, G-Eazy also dropped Step Brothers, a joint EP with Carnage that spawned singles like “Guala” and “Down for Me.”
G-Eazy’s last album, When It’s Dark Out, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in 2015. The project generated four of his most successful singles to date, including “Me, Myself, & I” with Bebe Rexha, the Kehlani-assisted “Good Life,” “Some Kind of Drug” featuring Marc E. Bassy, and “Random.”
The Beautiful & Damned is due this fall.
