XXXTentacion’s San Diego concert came to an abrupt end on Wednesday when a man rushed the stage and attacked the “Look At Me!” rapper with a swift blow to the head.
Fan-shot videos show members of security and other unknown parties moved to restrain and strike the assailant, who had been wearing a hoodie that covered his face.
Seconds after the incident, Tentacion appeared to be unconscious. Two security guards lifted him up and took him backstage. Later, friends propped him up and brought him back to the stage, where fans cheered him on.

Shortly after the show ended, XXX hit Twitter with thoughts and allegations about the incident. “security and venue set me up, I got sucker punched and knocked out, it is what it is,” he wrote. “next time make sure you kill me so I can’t talk shit.”
Fans in the venue appeared to believe that rapper Rob Stone was somehow involved in the altercation. Both inside and outside of the venue, many of X’s fans joined in loud “Fuck Rob Stone” chants.

Stone and Tentacion have had tension in the past. In April, Rob told XXL that he beat up an X affiliate, Ski Mask the Slump God, at a concert. “I run onstage and take the mic from blood and then we beat his ass from the stage to the street,” he said at the time. “And that’s how it goes. And I left his ass out in the street with his ass out and his underwear. And that’s exactly what happened, from beginning to end.”
X later mocked Stone’s “Chill Bill” single and threatened to slap him in retaliation for what happened to Ski Mask.
Speculation about Stone’s involvement in yesterday’s altercation has not been confirmed by the rapper or his camp.
Fox’s San Diego affiliate also reports that a 19-year-old concertgoer was stabbed “at some point during the melee.” It is unclear who the alleged victim is or how he was involved in the scuffle. No arrests were made at the event.
“The Revenge Tour” is scheduled to resume June 10 at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.
