In the past, Chance has also worked with The Empowerment Plan to give coats that turn into sleeping bags to the homeless in Chicago.
Additionally, BET will honor New Edition with the Lifetime Achievement Award. This follows the success of the group’s mini-series, which was a big hit for the network.
Featuring performances by Future, Bruno Mars, Trey Songz, and Migos, among others, the BET Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 25 at 8 p.m. ET.
