The apple doesn’t fall far from the talented Carter family tree.
Beyoncé and Jay Z must be proud of their daughter Blue Ivy, as the 5-year-old is now a ballerina. TMZ nabbed footage from her recent recital, where the young star took center stage for a performance of Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic “September.”
The Carters are longtime fans of Earth, Wind & Fire. In the past, Jay Z has rhymed over samples of the group’s legendary material on songs like “As One” and “Reach the Top.” Meanwhile, Bey sampled “Sing a Song” on her Austin Powers cut “Hey Goldmember” and cited the group as an inspiration for her music in 2011.
There will soon be two more talented members of the Carter family. The $1 billion couple is expecting twin babies any day now.
