New Music: Ameriie - 'Redrum'

More than a year after dropping her Drive EP, Ameriie gets murderous on her newest single, “Redrum.”

The sassy joint finds the “1 Thing” star singing about a femme fatale, who always comes out victorious in the end.

“She is so cold with her heart like ice,” sings Ameriie. “Everyone knows that she don’t play nice / She only go down to come up / She already won and you’re already done / …And she only drink that redrum.”

For the past week, Ameriie has also been teasing an upcoming video through a series of photos of herself in a bathtub filled with rose pedals and milk.

“Redrum” follows the R&B singer’s Drive EP, which was released in May of 2016. It was Ameriie’s first official release since 2009’s In Love & War.
