Is the king of Queens dating the queen of Queens?

Fresh off the Billboard Music Awards stage, Nicki Minaj addressed the fervent Nas dating rumors that were sparked when the two snapped a photo together at one of Esco’s Sweet Chick eateries earlier this month.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday (May 23), the Generous Queen explained her views on the Illmatic icon. “He is the king of Queens, and I like to think I’m the queen of Queens,” she said. “He’s a rap legend. Let’s just say that I have a lot of respect for him, and, you know, he’s kind of cute, too.”

When asked if they’ve had “sleepovers,” Nicki confirmed. “We have,” she said. “Yup! I go to him ’cause…I don’t know. I just thought him coming to me was too forward.”

Before moving on, however, Nicki cleared the air, noting that they haven’t had sex. “Let me clarify because I know people are gonna think,” she added. “We didn’t do the [nasty]. I’m just chillin’ right now. I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating any man. I hate men. But, he…I might make an exception to the rule for him, ’cause he’s so dope.”

Nicki said that the two spoke recently and that she told him that she was going on the show. “He told me to tell you,” she said. “I said, ‘I’m going on ‘Ellen’ and I’ma talk to her.’ He was like, ‘Let her know,’ but he definitely doesn’t know I’m really gonna talk to you about him.”

Nicki, who rapped about Ellen on her Remy Ma diss track “No Frauds,” also taught DeGeneres what it’s like to be in a rap feud. “You and Oprah are two amazing women, right?” she said. “So, what if you started getting jealous of her or something and then you throw a jab, and she throws one back, and then it’s, like, so much fun?”

Finally, Nicki received a generous donation on the show. After talking about her recent charitable acts and her drive to help students with college expenses, Minaj said she planned on starting a foundation. “I’m going to really start an actual foundation,” she said. “By the end of the year, I’m going to have it up so that even other people, like anyone who wants to help out, can just be a part of it.”

To help with that, Ellen got Shutterfly to donate $25,000 to the cause.
