Dave East Remixes Future's 'Mask Off'

  /  04.11.2017

Dave East is back with another East Mix. After flipping Drake’s “Free Smoke” and The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” the Def Jam/Mass Appeal MC takes on Future’s “Mask Off.”

Rhyming over Metro Boomin’s flutes, Dave boasts about his father’s pride. “I really made my dad smile, reason that ni**a braggin’,” he raps. “I ain’t even have to ask him / Me broke? That’s past tense.”

But he also makes sure to note his mother’s disappointment in his verse to balance things out. “Mama disappointed with my mug shot,” he raps. “I was smiling in it.”

Dave’s latest East Mix also follows his A$AP Ferg collaboration and video for “Paper Chasin.”

Up next, East is getting ready to drop his forthcoming project Paranoia, the follow-up to last year’s Kairi Chanel mixtape.
