Tyga and Kylie Jenner continue their on-again-off-again cycle with another break. Citing multiple sources, People reports that the couple has broken up.
“They tend to take little breaks all the time and then get back together,” said an insider. “It’s definitely possible they’ll work things out again.”
T-Raww, 27, and Jenner, 19, have had a long and complicated relationship since 2014, when they were first rumored to be dating. At the time, Tyga was criticized for romancing the 17-year-old model.
Once Jenner turned 18, the couple made their relationship public. Tyga even joined episodes of Kylie’s family reality series, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
But throughout the years, their relationship has also been tumultuous. They’ve broken up several times, including once in 2015 after Jenner’s brother Rob Kardashian started dating Tyga’s son’s mother, Blac Chyna.
Last year, after another breakup, Tyga spoke on the relationship’s troubles. “When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently,” he said. “Being in that, it took a lot from me, just, career-wise and everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things I worked hard for.” Weeks later, the couple reunited.
The breakup follows recent allegations from Blac Chyna. In a series of Snapchat posts, Tyga’s former fiancée called him out for allegedly failing to pay child support and not paying their babysitter.
Earlier today, Tyga dropped two new songs in preparation for his forthcoming mixtape Bitch I’m the Shit 2. One of those tracks, “Act Ghetto,” references Jenner. “She wanna stunt like Rihanna, might make me wear Puma,” raps T-Raww. “Gettin’ checks like Kylie, yeah, everyday I do it.”
