After hinting at a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz has confirmed the speculation. According to Tity Boi, their forthcoming joint, which is expected to land on his album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, is “goin to be a problem.”
The Atlanta rapper took to Instagram on Monday (March 27) to brag about his newest collaboration with the Young Money rapstress.
“I don’t talk much but my song with her is goin to be a problem,” he wrote. The post, which features a “NICKI” neon pink sign, was followed by four flame emojis and the #prettygirlsliketrapmusic hashtag.

Backed by that same neon pink sign, Nicki posted a selfie video last night. The quick clip featured an instrumental in the background. “I did my own makeup & in between writing I looked in my camera & seen this bad ass pretty ass trini ting staring back at me,” she captioned the clip. “I was like yikes!”
A day before that, Minaj posted a photo with Chainz in front of the “NICKI” sign, as well. The caption simply read: “All Ima say is YIKES,” followed by four flame emojis.

Nicki and Chainz have quite a history together. They’ve collaborated on tracks like “Beez in the Trap” and “I Luv Dem Strippers.” Plus, she recently curated a “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” playlist ahead of his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album, which is due April 7.
As for Nicki, it looks like she’s planning a surprise today. She first teased it on Sunday, and yesterday, she announced that its delay was “out of her hands.”
“Tmrw barbz,” she wrote. “ya muva loves u. U love ya muva? Then just kiss me &a spare the pettiness cuz it was out of my control. #NickiLovesHerBarbz.”
Nicki is currently prepping the release of her forthcoming album, her first since 2014’s The Pinkprint.
