Tory Lanez jets to “somewhere in Europe” in the video for “Anyway,” the latest release from his New Toronto II mixtape.
Directed by Midjordan, the visual finds the Canadian crooner-MC climbing to great heights atop a soccer field, while rapping about his game with the ladies.
But the clip also gets dark, with blue hues surrounding him and a gorgeous model. Later, he’s around more women, friends, smoke, and champagne.
Speaking of Champagne, the “Anyway” video arrives shortly after Drake’s “Do Not Disturb” off More Life made waves for apparently dissing Lanez.
“If we do a song it’s like takin’ my kids to work with me,” raps Drizzy. “You overnight celebrity, you one day star / Swear I told you that I’m in this bitch for eternity / I am a reflection of all of your insecurities.”
Fans and critics pointed to the fact that Tory’s name is Daystar Peterson and his I Told You LP featured a track called “One Day.” It’s the latest barb in a series of thinly-veiled jabs between the two musicians.
New Toronto II was released earlier this year, along with Chixtape 4. Both followed Tory’s 2016 LP, I Told You.
