Juelz Santana and Dave East link up on the corner for their Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel collaboration, “Time Ticking.”
Directed by Kid Art, the visual features a masked Santana counting money on a street corner while hanging with Dave and his crew. The duo takes things indoors, where models are dancing to their smash, and where more money can be counted. Meanwhile, a Rolls-Royce is set ablaze, overlooking the city at night.
Straight from Rikers Island, Shmurda and Rebel appear on the track through a phone conversation. The video features Polaroids of the incarcerated duo, as Dave yells: “Free Rowdy! Free Bobby!”
The concept of time is also important. Not only can a clock be seen in between scenes, but Juelz and Dave have a watch-flossing dance move they share throughout the clip.
Santana has been busy with posse cuts of late. In the past month, he teamed up with Migos and Jim Jones on “D-Up” and joined Cam’ron and French Montana on “Dip’d N Coke.”
