Aye! Dipset and Migos unite as Juelz Santana taps Jim Jones, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff for his latest release, “D-Up.”
The Atlanta trio kicks off the track with rhymes and harmonies. “Excuse me, pardon,” raps Offset. “Colorful diamonds like I been playin’ Sorry / Look at my bitch, she a Barbie.”
Quavo follows: “Drop off, hardball,” he raps. “Grandpa got a sawed-off.” Then Takeoff and Juelz go back-and-forth with bars. “I’m taking the PJ to go to Belize,” raps T.O. “I need tat big gun, I’m talkin’ machine,” adds Santana.
Finally, Jim Jones closes out the track with a nod to his new Roc Nation deal. “Was hangin’ with the dealers then,” he raps. “Still hangin’ with the dealers now / They know I just signed a deal, so they ask how I’m feelin’ now.”
Santana has been having quite a resurgence of late. Last month, he teamed up with French Montana and Cam’ron on “Dip’d N Coke” and the month before that, he dropped “Drake Voice.” In December, he also popped up with “Santana Bandana” and the Bobby Shmurda, Dave East, and Rowdy Rebel collaboration “Time Ticking.”
