Karrueche Tran is heading to court this week over her ongoing restraining order case against Chris Brown.

TMZ reports that Brown has avoided being served with the restraining order three times, but will now have to see Tran in court on Thursday (March 9).

Last month, a judge issued an emergency restraining order against Brown after Tran claimed that her former boyfriend threatened to kill her. She also claimed that he’s punched her and thrown her down stairs in the past, according to court documents.

Tran is reportedly preparing a case for a permanent restraining order against Brown and she is apparently willing to take the stand and swear under oath that Brown was violent during their relationship.

One of Tran’s friends, Joseph Ryan La Cour, also got a restraining order against Brown last week after saying that the superstar musician threatened to shoot and assault him.

Shortly after Tran’s restraining order made headlines, Brown appeared to deny her claims on social media. “Make sure y’all don’t be listening to all this bullshit, man,” he said in an Instagram video. “Whatever people on the other side doing, let them do what they doing. I don’t know what the fuck they talking about.”

News of the Thursday court date comes less than a week after a Billboard report concerning Brown’s alleged “downward spiral” due to drug use. That article also referenced Brown’s issues with Tran. “He’s always on social media, looking up who Karrueche was with, what she was looking like, what club she was at, who posted to her Instagram,” said one source.

Once again taking to Instagram, Brown appeared to deny the report’s allegations. “Y’all gotta stop with this angry shit,” he said. “Going through drugs and all this other shit, I’m tired of reading about some shit soon as I got something poppin’. As soon as I want to promote a tour, ‘Party,’ a fuckin’ album, anything, y’all bring up something.”
