Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Travis Scott go on a Fast & Furious ride in the high-octane video for “Go Off,” the lead single from The Fate of the Furious soundtrack.
Much like the film franchise which inspired the song, the video is an action-packed adventure. With donuts and high-speed chases, “Go Off” allows Uzi, Quavo, and Travis to live like the stars of the film, right in the midst of Dodge muscle cars, tire smoke, and wrecking balls.
“One more ride, one more race, we go all out, we don’t play,” sing Travis and Quavo with Uzi by their side. “One more ride, one more race, we don’t slow down, hit no breaks / I’ma go off, I’ma ride tonight, it don’t matter what we face / I’ma go off, I’ma ride tonight, I’m a master of my fate.”
Beyond this, “Go Off’s” visual also features scenes from the forthcoming eighth installment of the Fast & Furious series. Directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton), the film stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese, and Ludacris.
Unveiled earlier today, the soundtrack’s tracklisting is a star-studded affair, with contributions from Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, G-Eazy, and Kehlani, among others.
Expect more singles and videos to drop weekly, with the Spanish version of Pitbull and J Balvin’s Camila Cabello-assisted “Hey Ma” arriving March 10 and G-Eazy and Kehlani’s “Good Life” coming the following week, on March 17.
The Fate of the Furious soundtrack and film both arrive April 14.
