New Music: Calvin Harris feat. Frank Ocean & Migos - 'Slide'

  /  02.23.2017

After teasing his new single “Slide,” Calvin Harris shines a spotlight on his highly-anticipated collaboration with Frank Ocean and Migos.

“Do you slide on all your nights like this?” sings Frank on the hook. “Do you try on all your nights like this?”

Over the slick dance floor-ready instrumental, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff blend their raps and ad-libs with Frank’s trademark vocals. “Swallow the bottle as I sit back and smoke gelato,” raps Offset. “Walk in my mansion, 20,000 painting, Picasso.”

“Slide” comes shortly after Harris announced his goal of unleashing uplifting music this year. “More joyful music in 2017,” he recently tweeted. “I feel like it’s missing from the world. And it was missing from my life. So I created it. So excited to share this with you !!! !! Can u tell…In 2017 I’m making music to make your soul happy !!!!”

Last year, Harris teamed up with Rihanna for “This Is What You Came For”. This year, he’s vowed to release 10 new songs, possibly making up a new album. If so, it will be his fifth, a follow-up to 2014’s Motion.

Frank is coming off the back-to-back releases of Endless and Blonde while Migos is celebrating the success of their latest album Culture.
