Gucci Mane is expanding his empire by launching his new label, 1017 Eskimo Records, and he’s wasted no time in signing his first artist, Ralo.
“@RaloFamGoon my first artist signed to my new label 1017 Eskimo Records,” Guwop announced on Instagram.
The news came on a special day for the 1017 honcho and his latest signee. Both artists were celebrating their birthdays.
To commemorate the occasion, Ralo released his latest project, Famerican Gangster 2 featuring Gucci, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, and 21 Savage.
“Aye yawl I just got another million dollars n my account,” wrote an excited Ralo. “Could everybody please do me 2 favors… tell @laflare1017 thank him an happy birthday. This the greatest gift on earth.”

This isn’t Gucci’s first record label. In the past, he’s also been behind LaFlare Entertainment, So Icey Entertainment, and 1017 Brick Squad Records.
Last year, Guwop praised his keen ear during an interview with Hot 97, in which he discussed co-signing Young Thug and Migos early on. “There’s nothing in Atlanta that ever moves that I don’t touch,” he said. “I’m for real.”
Beyond running a label, Gucci is gearing up to release his next solo effort, DropTopWop. Recently, he teased a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. And as if that wasn’t enough to keep Gucci busy, he and his fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir are also planning their wedding for Oct. 17.
