New Music: Rick Ross - 'Summer 17'

  /  02.09.2017

2017 is about to be the year of the Bawse. A year after Drake dropped “Summer Sixteen,” Rick Ross prepares for “Summer 17.”

The banger finds a hopeful Rozay rhyming about the current year and the months ahead. “2017, trust me boy this one is it,” he proclaims. “I used to smoke the weed until my fingers burn / Pool of bitches fucking me, I got ’em takin’ turns.”

After flexing with a purple Lamborghini, his lawyer, and his button-pushing skills, Renzel explains his goal: “I want my ni**as rich by summer ’17.”

In between partying with Gronk, the MMG mogul is prepping the release of his forthcoming album, Rather You Than Me. The project, his debut on Epic Records, will feature his Ty Dolla $ign-assisted single “I Think She Like Me.”

Rozay can also be heard on DJ E-Feezy’s posse cut “Got Me Crazy (No Better Love)” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Tranquillo.”
