Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj Reconcile

  /  02.08.2017

Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj are putting the past behind them.

The frequent collaborators and longtime rivals have officially squashed their beef. On Wednesday (Feb. 8), they posed for a photo together, middle fingers up, repping Atlanta’s Zone 6.

“Salute and much respect to @nickiminaj,” Gucci captioned the flick. “Zone6 stand up!!! #staytuned Legendary.” Nicki, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in New York, added some love to the ATL in her caption: “Word to Zone 6.”

What they’re up to remains to be seen, but last night, Minaj also shared a photo from what looks like a trailer, leading many to speculate that she was shooting a music video. Whether that’s related to the Guwop post is still unclear.

Nevertheless, this is a surprising reconciliation given their longtime feud. In 2013, Gucci dissed several peers, including Nicki, on Twitter. “Me and waka fuck nikki minaj dats nothing,” tweeted Gucci. “Tell. Her intervention my dick in her throat I moved dat bitch to atl. Bitch u was sleepin n d car. Bitch. I pulled dat bitch off wayne bus.”

Minaj clapped back: “May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man. Lmfaoooooooooo. Ni**a da way ya #ugliness is set up #BubbaGump #crackhead.”

Last year, Guwop spoke about the Nicki feud and the prospects of a reconciliation. “It is what it is,” he said at the time. “It ain’t even that serious. We made some records before and they were dope records but that’s in the past.”

Prior to their beef, Nicki and the Wopster collaborated on a slew of tracks, including “5 Star Remix,” “Coca Coca,” “Sex in Crazy Places,” “Slumber Party,” “Haterade,” “Pussy Ni**a,” and “Mi Casa Su Casa,” among several others.

Now, Nicki is working on her Pinkprint follow-up. Meanwhile, Gucci is prepping his new album DropTopWop.
