Raindrop, droptop, someone wants Lady Gaga to get dropped.
While Gaga is set to headline the annual Super Bowl halftime extravaganza next Sunday (Feb. 4), a Change.org petition is now requesting that the Migos take her place.
“Very Simple, the Atlanta Falcons are in the Super Bowl and it’s gonna be in Houston. Two of the TRILLEST hip hop communities under ONE ROOF,” writes the petition starter, a man named Justin G. from San Francisco. “Your entertainment choices have to change RIGHT NOW.”
His recommendation for the Super Bowl festivities includes a pre-show with Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, and Jeezy.
“Young Thug needs to sing ‘Guwop Home,’ the official anthem of Atlanta,” he adds. “André 3000 should sing the national anthem with Erykah Badu. By sing I mean hit Donald Trump with a FIRE 64 bars.”
As for the halftime show, the petition is requesting a performance of “Bad and Boujee,” as well as an Outkast-led Aquemini medley, and a performance of “Big Pimpin” by Jay Z and Bun B.
At press time, the petition had more than 29,000 supporters.
Despite the opposition, the NFL has no plans to replace Gaga as this year’s performer. The pop superstar has dreamed of the moment since she was a child. “I’ve been planning this since I was four,” she told “Fox NFL Sunday.” “I know exactly what I’m gonna do.”
