Ciara Signs with Warner Bros. Records

Ciara has a new home.

On Friday (Jan. 27), Warner Bros. Records announced the signing of the multifaceted singer-songwriter. CiCi also celebrated the news on Instagram.

“Warner Brothers Records!!!” she wrote. “Lets Get It! Proud to announce and honored to join the family! To all my Ladies out there…this is truly a time where we can do anything, be anything we want, & Love to the fullest while being loved in return.. there is No Limit! Dreams really do come true! I’m supercharged to make the World Dance again!”

Her new label is also thrilled about the signing. “We welcome Ciara to Warner Bros. Records and look forward to the next chapter of her storied music career,” said Cameron Strang, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Records.

In 2004, Ciara began her career with Goodies, her breakout debut released through LaFace Records, where she also released her sophomore album The Evolution. In 2009, CiCi found herself at RCA/Jive for Fantasy Ride, but by 2010, she returned to LaFace for Basic Instinct.

The next phase of her career took place at Epic where, in 2013, Revlon’s Global Ambassador released her self-titled album followed by 2015’s Jackie.

Currently, Ciara is celebrating some other big news. The singer is expecting her second child and first with husband Russell Wilson.
