Rihanna, Alicia Keys, & Janelle Monáe Join Women's March Rallies
Rihanna is ANTI President Donald Trump and she proved it on Saturday (Jan. 21), along with hundreds of thousands around the country.
While similar protests were held across the globe, the pop superstar went to “Work” at the Women’s March in New York, where she protested along with a large crowd that gathered in front of Trump Tower.
Through social media videos, RiRi was seen shouting with protesters: “Welcome to your first day. We will not go away!”
Donning a pink middle finger dad hat and a pink “This P***y Grabs Back” hoodie, Rihanna also joined in “Donald Trump has got to go” and “My body, my voice” chants.

On Instagram, Bad Gal posed for a photo surrounded by signs from the march. This signified the various reasons why hundreds of thousands took to the streets with signs that read: “Ok ladies, now let’s get in formation;” “America isn’t great without clean water;” “We are the human race;” and “Urine Over Your Head, Donnie.”
RiRi also shared some thoughts on the momentous day through Instagram. “So proud to be a woman,” she exclaimed. “So proud of the women around the world who came together today for pro-choice!”

Several other stars also joined in the protests. Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, Scarlett Johansson, America Ferrera, Ashley Judd, and Madonna were among the celebrities who led the Women’s March on Washington.
“We will continue to rise until our voices are heard,” said Keys, who also performed “Girl on Fire” at the D.C. rally. “Until our planet’s safety is not deferred. Until our bombs stop dropping in other lands. Until our dollar is the same dollar as a man’s. And we’ll continue to recognize that, yes, we can.”

Madonna also had a message for fans at the event. “Yes, I’m angry,” she said. “Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.” Later, she added: “To our detractors that insist this march will never add up to anything? F**k you.”

Ariana Grande, who’s been outspoken on women’s issues in the past, joined her mother and grandmother at a march in downtown Los Angeles. “I’m so proud of / inspired by everyone who marched today and thankful that there are so many people on this planet currently celebrating how brilliant and magical women truly are!” wrote the “Side to Side” singer. “Let’s keep our voices loud, passionate & peaceful!”
Early this morning, President Trump responded to the protests against him on Twitter. “Peaceful protests are a hallmark of our democracy,” he tweeted. “Even if I don’t always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views.”
