Run the Jewels Drops 'Run the Jewels 3'

  /  12.25.2016

It’s a Christmas miracle. On Christmas Eve, Run the Jewels gifted their fans with the ultimate present, their third album Run the Jewels 3.

Two years since Run the Jewels 2 and three-and-a-half years since their debut, Killer Mike and El-P serve up 14 brand new tracks with appearances from Danny Brown, Trina, BOOTS, Kamasi Washington, Tunde Adebimpe, and Joi Gilliam. The closer, “Report to the Shareholders,” finds Killer Mike reflecting on his political and social activism from the past election year.

They delivered the gift with a message to fans: “You’ve been with us since we started this thing and its made such a huge difference in our lives to have your energy and love. Thank you … We busted our asses on this one and we think we made something special this round.”

Physical copies will hit stores in January. After that, RTJ will hit the festive circuit, including Snowbombing in Austria, Primavera Sound in Spain, and Northside in Denmark.
