Gucci Mane caps off 2016 with his third album of the year, The Return of East Atlanta Santa, which is now available at digital retailers. In addition to Travis Scott and Bryson Tiller, the 13-track set features a collaboration with Drake.
Titled “Both,” the song finds Guwop and the 6 God reuniting after their last collabo, “Back on Road,” off July’s Everybody Looking.
“This is a certified classic,” Gucci said on DJ Khaled’s We the Best Radio. “You’re witnessing history in the making.”
For his part, Drizzy has a little too much to drink and gets in his feelings. “I don’t usually do this unless I’m drunk or I’m high, but I’m both right now and I need you in my life,” he sings on the hook.
Just this week, Gucci confirmed that The 6ers, his joint album with Drake, is “100 percent” happening, but there’s no release date because the two have been busy with their own projects. In fact, only two songs have been recorded thus far.
“He’s working on his album and I’ve got my album coming out,” Guwop told Power 106’s “The Cruz Show.” “I can’t even lie. I’m not even thinking about The 6ers. I’m thinking about East Atlanta Santa and I’m pretty sure he’s thinking about More Life.”
Producer Zaytoven revealed in August that he and Mike Will Made-It will produce a bulk of the project.
