Lil Wayne continues the onslaught of disses aimed at his longtime label, Cash Money Records.
During a recent performance at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, the rapper dropped the mic and walked off stage after delivering a scathing statement.
“You have been motherfu**ing amazing. My name is Tunechi,” he told the crowd. “I’m here on behalf of Young Mula, motherfu**ing baby. F**k Cash Money in they ass. Holla back.”
Last month, Wayne shouted out Roc-A-Fella Records while dissing Cash Money at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. Later, insiders would claim that the outburst was the reason Birdman called off settlement negotiations between Wayne and his label.
Weezy is suing Cash Money for $51 million and has said that he will not release Tha Carter V until he gets paid what he feels he’s owed. Despite that, he recently announced plans to drop his Funeral project.
“Make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon,” he recently confirmed. “That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon.”
