Nick Cannon bares his soul on his new mixtape The Gospel of Ike Turn Up, My Side of the Story, out today (Nov. 16).

The 17-track effort includes appearances from Jeremih, Quavo, Gucci Mane, Keke Palmer, K. Michelle, and his ex-girlfriend Christina Milian, plus production from Zaytoven, Bobby Kritical, and Jahaan Sweet. It also allows the Ncredible MC a chance to open up about his life story in a vulnerable way.

“The names and faces have been changed to protect the innocent,” he says on the intro. “But I gotta get this shit out. At least that’s what my doctor said. It’s killing me inside. I pray y’all can handle it. It’s my truth.”

Even though Nick vows to change names, he drops a few references to some famous bombshells from his past, including Kim Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, Selita Ebanks, Meagan Good, Brandy, and ex-wife Mariah Carey — and that’s just on the intro.

The Gospel of Ike Turn Up also features influences from the ’90s. “That’s what’s inside me,” Nick recently told Rap-Up. “I’m a student of that. That’s when music felt good and was fun and that’s what I do well.”
