Texas! Queen Bey goes country.
After show-stopping sets at the Grammys, BET Awards, and VMAs, Beyoncé graced the stage for the very first time at the 50th Annual CMA Awards, live from Nashville on Wednesday (Nov. 2).
Rocking a stunning gown and pearls around her neck, Bey joined the Dixie Chicks for a not-so-surprise performance of her country-tinged song “Daddy Lessons” off her critically-acclaimed album LEMONADE. With the trio of Natalie Maines, Emily Robison, and Martie Maguire beside her, Bey repped her Texas roots, backed by her band.
“Yeah, CMAs! Hope ya’ll feeling good. Give it up for the Dixie Chicks,” she said.

The ladies rocked the banjo, fiddle, and guitar and Bey flexed her powerful pipes, receiving a standing ovation from the star-studded crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
This is not the first time the Dixie Chicks have covered Beyoncé. The group performed “Daddy Lessons” while on tour earlier this year.
