Azealia Banks Says She Was 'Humiliated' by Russell Crowe in Tearful Interview

  /  10.28.2016

Azealia Banks is sticking with her story. After witnesses and RZA denied her account of the now infamous Russell Crowe altercation, the Slay-Z rapper shared her side with “Access Hollywood.”

In a tearful interview, Banks explained why she was so distraught by the incident.

“Every time something like this happens, I’m always being blamed for wanting this kind of attention,” she said. “Who the fuck wants to tell somebody they got spat on? That’s humiliating. I’m just really, really humiliated.”

During the interview, Banks shared her account of the confrontation. She said Crowe insulted her with the n-word before physically attacking her and spitting on her. It’s a version of the story that witnesses, including RZA, mostly deny.

What frustrates Azealia even more is that the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the dinner party took place, has no surveillance footage from the night of the party.

“Where’s the tape?” Banks asks. “How can there not be no cameras in the hallway?”
