A$AP Rocky heads to northeast London in A$AP Mob’s video for “Money Man / Put That On My Set” featuring A$AP Nast and Skepta.
The grainy black-and-white clip is actually more of a short film. At about 12 minutes long, it features a mix of video footage and still photography centered around a butterfly empire.
The butterflies symbolically replace drugs in this world, where guns are often drawn and loyalties are tested.
The short was inspired by the 1995 film La Haine, which starred Said Taghmaoui. Given this, it makes sense that Taghmaoui also appears in Rocky’s film as his friend-turned-foe.
“Money Man” and “Put That On My Set” are both set to appear on the recently finalized Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, which has also spawned “Crazy Brazy” featuring Rocky, A$AP Twelvvy, and Key!
