Kid Cudi has a message for Kanye West and Drake. The former G.O.O.D. Music signee unleashed a series of venomous tweets today, bashing “corny” stars, referencing Yeezy and Drizzy by name.
“I need yall to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know Im bout to crush their entire existance,” he tweeted. “Everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them.

“The days of the fuckery are over,” he added. “The fake ones wont be lasting too much longer…Im the one they worry about cause they know I dont give a fuck about the corny shit they do.”
He stopped his rant to thank rising stars who’ve celebrated his work.
But then, he went right back to his tirade.
“And all u jealous chicken hearted shits I see you too,” he continued. “I am the culture…I keep silent because I dont ever wanna come off like some angry hater, but today, not only do I feel fantastic, Im feelin like taking over…I already have.”

Finally, he clarified who those tweets were about.
“My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These ni**as dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me,” he wrote. “Ni**as keep you close when they see how powerful you are by yourself. When they see your greatness. Out of fear.

So, what’s the backstory here? Kid Cudi has had close ties to Kanye West throughout his career, but they’ve also had their ups and downs. In April, however, Cudder called Yeezy his “big bro.” The two also hit the studio to work on West’s upcoming album Turbo Grafx 16.
“Me and Kanye are brothers,” he said. “With family, there’s always going to be issues and shit…We needed to have a big bro, lil bro convo. As soon as we had that, we were good.”
Meanwhile, Cudi and Drake have also seemingly been at odds. When Drake and Future dropped What a Time to Be Alive last year, Cudder tweeted that people “are so easily amused and impressed by mediocrity.”
He addressed that too in April. “I’m appalled any of y’all think I even sat down and listened to that shit,” he said. “I wasn’t talking about that at all! But if the shoe fits… Ni**as are so guilty that they know it’s them.”
Cudi has completed two albums, which are scheduled for release this year. Meanwhile, Drake and Kanye West have been working on a much-discussed joint project.
